Background Information :

In addition to advertising, we solicited bids for the purchase of a driver's education vehicle, which will be budgeted in the General Purpose School Fund for the 2016 – 2017 fiscal year. We received bids from two (2) local vendors which are summarized on the bid request tally sheet. Individual bids were as follows:

Union City Ford – $21,975.10
Kenton Chevrolet – $21,538.00

Staff Recommendation:

I recommend approval of the bid submitted by Union City Ford. With this approval, it is the intent of the Board and management that no liability will be incurred, nor a purchase order issued, until the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2016.
